Welcome to Relative Nepal,

As the Executive Director of Relative Nepal, I am honored to share with you our ongoing journey towards sustainable community development in Madhesh Province, particularly within the Dhanusha and Mahottari districts. Relative Nepal is a local development actor, working by locals for locals in Dhanusha and Mahottari districts in Madhesh Province. Since our inception in 2062 B.S., Relative Nepal has been steadfast in its commitment to uplifting marginalized communities through targeted initiatives in education, health, sanitation, environmental protection, disaster response, agriculture, human rights, and support for people with disabilities. And promoting culture through Mithila art and advocating for social justice and human rights.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to empower communities by mobilizing local resources and fostering active community participation. Over the years, our dedicated team has successfully implemented a wide array of programs, benefiting hundreds of thousands of underprivileged individuals. At the hearts of our efforts lies a vision to integrate underprivileged groups into the societal mainstream, ensuring they have access to the opportunities and resources necessary for a better quality of life. We believe in the power of education to transform lives, the importance of health and sanitation for community well-being, and the critical role of awareness and advocacy in driving social change.

Our projects, such as the Maithili Empowerment Programme, Better Childhood Better Future in Nepal, Transformed People and Transformed Communities, and the Safe and Inclusive School Pathway for Children and Youth in Nepal, exemplify our commitment to these goals. We are proud of our collaborative efforts with various partners, including Fida International, the central, provincial, and local governments, which have enabled us to reach new heights in our mission. Our dedicated team, led by our experienced Executive Committee, works tirelessly to ensure the success and sustainability of our initiatives. Guided by robust policies and ethical standards, we strive to create lasting impacts in the communities we serve.
