Reading is the key that unlocks learning
Relative Nepal has established Computer Lab and digital e-library in 8 community Schools at Bateshwar Rural Municipality. In 2020, the first digital library was introduced and set-up in the municipality.
''We can easily access books, poems, short stories and lesson so on from the computers at the library. Besides guides, resource and reference materials are also made available in digital format. The books and other materials are available in text, audio, and video formats also” said a high school student.
Though, the library has primarily set up for higher secondary students, basic level or high school students also utilizing it. Students accessed the library during their free periods when teacher is absent. Students are happy that E-Library became very useful in learning subjects and course.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought forth the need of digital education for students and this is an important part of the learning process too. Because access to reading materials is crucial for the child’s reading development and frequent readers are more successful students.

I learn new things in farming
My name is Mithilesh, I live in Bateshwar Rural Municipality of Dhanusha District. I followed by father's footstep and started learning farming at the very young age. I had not completed any high school degree but I loved to grow vegetables.
One day, I came to know that an NGO named Relative Nepal will organize a skill development training on vegetable farming at Bateshwar Rural Municipality. The aim of this training was to enhance traditional farming skills so that participant can start farming as business. That training was useful as the experienced expert share a room space of info and knowledge that can increase area of farming.
Farming can lift up the income of a family by using right and modern skills to grow vegetable. This type of training helps to grow in skills and capacity to have farming in good way on good time.
After the training I tried and planted different kinds of vegetable. I am very happy and enjoying in farming with new skills and techniques.
